Significantly reduce the number of hungry children in the USA and feed starving children throughout the world.

  • Distribute a fortified soy/rice casserole-style meal specifically formulated to meet the nutritional needs of a starving child
  • Engage volunteers, as young as six years old, to package the ingredients for the meals
  • Maintain worldwide partnerships with humanitarian organizations

Registration is now open for the Minser Chiropractic Clinic's 6th Annual 5K Run/Walk and 1K Kids Fun Run! The St. Cloud clinic has graciously decided to donate all funds raised at the event to Kids Against Hunger of Central Minnesota and the American Spine Foundation (ASF)!

The event is scheduled for Friday, September 17th, 2010 at the Beaver Island Trail Head. Registration begins at 4:30 PM and the start times for the races will be 6:00 PM and 6:30 PM for the 1K and 5K, respectively. Door prizes, awards, and refreshments will be given out after the race!

Following Haiti's devastating earthquake, 3,000 Central MN volunteers respond to meet the immediate needs.

The disaster completely destroyed almost all infrastructure in and around the capital of Port-au-Prince and the surrounding areas—crippling leadership, killing thousands, and leaving millions homeless and without resources in an already struggling country.

PostHeaderIcon Haitian Orphanage Food from KAHCM

In recent months, Kids Against Hunger locations around the country have sent millions of meals to Haiti in the wake of the January earthquake. Central Minnesota alone has packaged and sent well over 1,000,000 meals to communities throughout Haiti, and with the help of organizations on the ground, have fed thousands in their time of need.

Mission-Haiti is one of the receiving organizations of the food packed here during February’s ‘For the Love of Haiti’ event. Mission-Haiti is a Christian non-profit organization that operates in Ti-Rivier, one of Haiti’s southern rural coastal towns. After the earthquake, Ti-Rivier had a massive increase in population as people fled to the countryside to escape the danger and destruction in and around the capital city.
