The WFP has poste that 25,000 children a day die due to hunger related causes.Every five seconds one child dies because she or he was hungry. Interested in scheduling a Group?? Please look under "Future Events & Scheduling " for our latest schedule. We will take 60 people for each shift. We will take volunteers on a first come basis. Once a session is full we will write “FULL” on it so you know that no more spots are available. Otherwise there will be a number in the right margin (i.e. 50 People) that will tell you how many spots are still open. Our schedule is very full at this time. Any group who is able to provide $20 a participant is able to schedule a group at their convenience. We will also still accommodate School Groups who wish to schedule field trips during the day. Any groups who want to schedule a group will need to call our office (320) 203-1799 or e-mail us at kidsagainsthunger@yahoo.com in order to make arrangements. Local Food Shelves: KAHCM is asking any groups who come in to package food to please bring non-perishable food items that we will collect and donate to our local food shelves! Thank you! We are also asking volunteers to bring in used eyeglasses and sunglasses that we are collecting for the Lions Club
