Vision / Mission

Working together to end world hunger.

Kids Against Hunger of Central Minnesota engages the community of Central Minnesota to provide temporary hunger relief or help where it is needed. We will engage the community through education, partnerships and volunteerism.

Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service Packaging Event

Help package nutritionally balanced meals for children in Jamaica and our own local foodshelves. The River Cluster: St. Augustine, Christ Church Newman and St. Mary's Cathedral and Thrivent Financial and with support of other area Churches and service clubs plan to package 150,000 meals with 600 volunteers. Volunteers are asked to make a $10.00 donation to help pay for ingredients.

Former Executive Director returns

The founder of Kids Against Hunger of Central Minnesota returns to take the organization to the next level. Pam Beard has been living in Bemidji since 2005 and has since returned to St. Cloud. As of October 1, 2011 Pam will be reinstated as the Executive Director. Pam can be reached at pam@kidsagainsthungercm.org

We are accepting requests to come and package food. Please contact us at 320-203-1799 or via email at pam@kidsagainsthungercm.org. The required donation is $20.00 per adult and $10.00 per child to package for 2 hours.

KAH Food Product

Our revolutionary food package has been developed by some of the world's leading food scientists at Cargill, Pillsbury, General Mills and ADM. This one package provides six nutritionally-complete servings for only .20 cents per serving.

2011 Results are in

Kids Against Hunger of Central Minnesota had a very successful 2011. Here is an overview of the results.

43 packaging sessions
7,369 Boxes of food
4,570 Volunteers
1,028,161 meals were packaged, and distributed (or are in transit) to starving men, women and children around the world.

These results could not have been possible without the generous donors and volunteers of Central Minnesota.
